Rome

Day 7

A true procession up to the Vatican. The meter was full. The row for the Museum of the Vatican gives the return to the state of the Vatican. The Vatican is surrounded! !!Enter in the museum of the Vatican 20000 persons daily, the medium price of the ticket is 10€, do you count them!!! The plaza of the Basilica of S. Pedro is calm, feels peace. In the Basilica of S. Pedro we come the graves of the popes. The grave of the pope John Paul II is incredibly simple. The Basilica of S. Pedro does not look a localities of worship, but yes purely tourist. We come the sepulture of S. Peter, to Pietá (Christ dead in the lap of Maria), the chapel of the Sto. Sacrament. The dress code of the Vatican is interesting. It cannot be entered having to the sample knees and shoulders. We already knew about that and by that we came from trousers and longer t-shirt of sleeve. But soon after exit of the Basilica and in full plaza of S.Pedro, we remove the trousers and we stayed of shorts and skirt... The Plaza Navona, flood of restaurants, artists of street, springs. The Pantheon is of the time of the Roman emperors, is very well conserved and is one of the best copy of those times. We eat a gelato Italian, a true experience, the pastes and the pizzas also are very good. Via venetto has a glamour of few, with his hotels and coffees of refinement. After a very good night, next one seems difficult. We go to road of Venice. The night could have run thousand worse times. We sleep in the train and afterwards in the station of Venice.
